September
21, 2008 NECCA Clinic - Converting and using
digital music in calling. Presented by Bob
LaFleur of Springfield, MA
The program will feature
methods of converting vinyl to digital music, use
of MP3 and minidisk players, and using a laptop
computer in calling.
Along with this program,
NECCA will also be presenting an excellent
workshop for the partners. This program will
be presented by Gail Gordon, wife of square dance
caller Don Beck, and will be presented in a
different area at the same time that the digital
music presentation is being performed. Gail
is a certified life coach and a licensed clinical
psychologist. She has performed workshops
at the partners sessions at many of the
CALLERLAB Conventions. The workshop is
entitled Dance of Your Life.
Participants will examine where they are in their
lives. They will identify steps they can
take to make life more fulfilling. This is
a fun workshop and all participants will be asked
to play. Callers who are not interested in
the digital music session may want to consider
attending this session instead.
The date is Sunday,
September 21, 2008 at the Worcester State College,
Worcester, Massachusetts. More information,
along with directions to the college, will be
sent at a later date.
There will be a meal
served at 12:00 noon, and the presentations will
begin at 1:00 PM. The cost is $15.00 per
caller unit, which includes the caller and his/her
partner.
Please make checks
payable to NECCA and mail to Johnny Wedge, 100
Merrimack Ave, Unit 1, Dracut, MA 01826.
Please be sure to include the full name of the
caller, address, telephone number and email
address, and the full name of the partner, and
whether or not the partner is interested in
attending the partner session. The deadline

Please get your registrations in early.
